2023 Highlights Personal Statement
I started wrestling in 2nd grade and quickly fell in love with the competition aspect of the sport. I strive each and every day to get better and advance myself throughout wrestling and school. I am very competitive and am always seeking opportunities to better myself. Currently, I am a student at Shenandoah Valley Governor’s school and Riverheads high school with an unweighted GPA of 4.127 and ranked 9th in my class. My goal is to wrestle at the highest level while also becoming a Veterinarian.
My competitiveness with my teammates and classmates helps push me and everyone around me to work incredibly hard. I have always taken pride in these work ethics throughout all areas of my day to day life and it is because of theses work ethics that I continue to get better academically and athletically.
