Making the Varsity team as a Freshman as well as winning a League Title my Sophomore year has been the highlights of my high school career. I grew the most as a player when, as a Freshman, was given the starting catching job, forcing me to learn on the fly and continue to work hard in practice in order to keep up with the highest competition I had ever seen at the time. As a Sophomore that role continued and, along with my coaches help, has put me on the right path toward playing college baseball.
Going from a 12-15 record and missing the playoffs Freshman year, to a 22-5 League Title Sophomore year shows me how dedicated our program is toward the goal of success. Playing with and learning from upperclassmen in my first two years of high school has helped me develop and appreciate the worth of leadership, good grades, and the drive for success. I have been blessed with amazing high school and travel ball coaches that have played at the next level and are willing to share the knowledge they have obtained over the years. Having a brother who played Division 1 Soccer gave me a peak into the work it takes to play at the next level and I am committed 100%. I am ready to do what it takes to be the leader of your team on the field as well as in the classroom.
