Let me introduce myself to you. I am a multi sport athlete. I have played football, basketball and baseball in my 3 years in high school. I have decided baseball will be my focus moving forward. I played football freshman year and was asked to move up to varsity at the end of the season. I play basketball, 3 years on varsity, and a varsity starter sophomore and junior year. I play the small strong forward position. I have been a 2 year varsity baseball player on my high school team. My primary position is center field but play anywhere in the outfield due to my speed and arm strength.
Playing multiple sports has been amazing. To be challenged and to compete in many different situations has helped me develop into who I am today.. I am also a memeber of the Leadership Club and active in community service at school and in my church.
My coaches refer to me as a freakish athlete, an all around player, a game changer. They rely on my passion to lead and compete. I take that very seriously. It motivates me to work tirelessly on my own.
My exposure has been limited due to an injury which kept me from playing last summer. I am healthy and am having a great junior year. Over the summer I will be playing with the BPA program in Orlando. I will be attending showcases and clinics over the summer.
I can't express to you how much I would love the opportunity to play baseball in college. My goals this summer are to increase my speed, strength and SAT score. I will continue to work to imorove my game with the hopes of playing this game at a higher level.
