Personal Statement
My goal for college is to obtain a degree in a field that I can excel in. What makes me a great candidate for college baseball is that I play with heart and soul. I'm a great team player, a leader in the dugout, on the field and in life. I like to encourage my teammates to be their best. As the youngest of 8 children this has benefited me in all areas of my life, learning to get along, to be a leader, to handle adversity, and it's given me a great sense of humor! Athletically, I am self-motivated, push my limits to get stronger and faster, always eager to learn and accept constructive criticism to become a better athlete and individual. Academics are extremely important, I feel that without a solid academic foundation, it doesn't matter how good you are in a sport. Education is extremely important to me and I know that in order to excel in any area of life, education is the key to success. My passion is the game of baseball, when I’m anywhere on the field it’s a bonus!
