Hi! I’m Roan Orlanes and I am a 2025 graduate. Ever since I was five years old, ever since I picked up that bat, I knew right away that this was the sport loved. I have never lost my love for the game of baseball and I never will. My goals are to be able to play baseball at the next level. I not only want to be a better player on the field at the collegiate level, but I also want to aim to be a better teammate and better in the classroom. Some things that make me stand out as a character is I am always locked in from the time I warm up before every game. I try not to talk to my teammates too much because I know I will be distracted and that way I get through my stretching and throwing routine through better so I am warmed up before game time. But during the game, I try to keep my teammates up and increase the energy as much as possible. Seeing my teammates sitting around makes me mad and shows they have no care for the game. And if my teammate was feeling down, not having their best game, I try to keep them up and try to have them forget about it. Anytime I am free during the week, I try to take batting practice and go to the gym as much as possible. And in the classroom, I stay focused from the very first period of the day to the last, every day of the school year to make sure I am not falling behind in schoolwork.
