Aram Dombalagian '24 Recruiting Profile

Growing up playing two sports, I’ve always had a very competitive mindset.  While I have played soccer at a high level for many years, playing baseball has always been my greatest passion.  For me, there is nothing like making a great play or feeling the pride in the success of my team.  When it comes to playing baseball, I will play any role I need to help my team or to help my teammates succeed in their goals. However, despite baseball being a major focus in my life, I have always been told, and understood, from a young age that school always comes first.  As a student, I like to be on top of my work, absorb as much as I can and push myself to expand my education whether by studying Mandarin or taking extra classes to advance in math. 

I have had so much motivation from family, friends and teammates.  My dad motivates me practically everyday.  He wants me to have passion for whatever I do, learn to be better and do the best I can at everything, whether school, baseball or soccer.  I know wherever I go, I will give it my best, learn what I can and do it with the pride and passion that has been instilled in me.
