Drake Shelton '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Drake Shelton. One of my biggest goals is to play baseball at the highest level possible. I am a Short Stop for Decorah. I also bat lead off for my team. I will be going into my junior season. Last year my batting average was second on the team and I had the most doubles. I am hoping to keep improving my skills and strength for this upcoming summer. My work ethic is there every single day if it's in practice, the weight room, or a game. I bring leadership and energy to the table. I will be there for anyone of my teammates through thick and thin. I love to compete so if you need a competitor to come and bring it everyday I can do that. I am very passionate for the game of baseball. I try to get to the cages almost everyday to work on my swing. I hope that I can keep playing after the last game of my senior year and carry my love for baseball into college.
