Ryan Logan '28 Recruiting Profile

I'm Ryan Logan from Pleasant Hill, Iowa. I am currently in 8th Grade at Southeast Polk Junior High. I currently play club baseball for MidWest Pride 13U Elite as a Right handed Pitcher, First Base and some Third Base. 

Baseball has been part of my life since I was six years old. I started playing tee ball and onto USSSA baseball. I am passionate about the game and grown to love it. I got my first base career early started because I was the only kid who could catch the ball consistently. My catching, stretching, and scooping the ball at first all became second nature and before I knew it I was beating out left handed kids who thought they deserved the position. At age eight I tried pitching and learned I was a calm cool collected pitcher on the bump. Coaches saw I could handle myself and actions on the mound at a young age and still do this day. For years I was a closer, but I had to accept a challenge as a starter due to teammates with injured arms during the 2022/2023 season. I succeeded and am now confidant as a starter and a closer. I can do anything the team needs me to do on the mound. I will be starting my high school baseball career in 2024-2025, I have a positive attitude and am a hard worker. I learn from my mistakes and am very coachable. I do like to have fun and am known for quoting humorous one liners, I do like to make others smile! You have to have fun when you do what you love. I'm looking for a college that is going to make college and baseball go hand in hand. Play some baseball while getting a great education for my future.
