My name is Matheus Avelino, and I am a 2026 middle infielder. Being the hardest worker and the best teammate on the field are two things that I pride myself on. These two things are often the difference between wins and losses, and between successful seasons and unsuccessful seasons. I will always strive to be the best version of myself, both on and off the field. One other thing that I do that is important to me is I work local baseball clinics for little league players. I still remember the high school players that I would meet and learn from as a little leaguer myself years ago, and I pride myself on being a good role model and teaching the game to the next generation of baseball players in my city. My goal for my post high school career is to contribute to a competitive and successful collegiate baseball program and continue to grow as a player, student, and person.
