My name is Michael Schiermeyer and I attend Franklin High School in Somerset, NJ. I am currently a MIF/OF playing on the Varsity high school team and for PPH Baseball out of South Brunswick, NJ.
My journey as an athlete began at an early age. My dad was a great football player in high school and college which inspired me to follow in his footsteps. I played both football and baseball until I reached high school. My freshman year I decided to focus only on baseball because I truly love the game.
I have learned so many life lessons while playing baseball and I am still learning. My goal is to succeed but I realize I may fail along the way which gives me that drive to work harder. I believe you have to work well with your teammates, be supportive and pick each other up in order to be a better athlete and even a better teammate.
I try to work as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. Education is very important to me and I am committed to attending a college and earning a College Degree.
When I am not playing baseball, I enjoy working out, playing golf, fishing and going to the beach with my friends.
To the coaches that may be interested in me, I can assure you that I am a hard worker that is dedicated to doing my best at becoming a better person and a better athlete.
