As a kid, I remember everyone looking up to different people. There were those who believed their role models were superheroes, those who looked up to the president at the time, or those who wanted to be the richest in the world. My role models were the current baseball players. I looked up to those players who played at the highest level one day looking to play on the same field as they were. Everyone I looked up to has played the game because baseball is what I loved most.
Baseball has always been and will always be a game that I love dearly. It's a game that's very mental and something I truly love about the sport. I've played this game for as long as I could remember and is something that's always been there for me, somewhere where nothing else matters besides the current game. Even without struggles, this feeling of just you and your teammates playing to win was just so great and it's been something I want to play at the highest level for a long time.
I am also a studious person, currently attending one of the most prestigious high schools, Bergen County Technical HS which is known for its academics. School is something I take very seriously and is where I make sure I keep my focus and try to always achieve the most I can.
I am a very well-rounded athlete both academically as well as on the field. I pride myself in my work ethic both in the classroom and on the diamond and I am just looking to be able to play this game at a higher level while getting a great education to set me up later. I am very versatile and accepting to change, being a player who is willing to move anywhere on the field to help the team win.
