Jacob Naya '26 Recruiting Profile

At a very young age, I learned to have a positive mindset, to overcome failure, and learn from my mistakes. These lessons have helped me excel on the field, in the classroom, and in my volunteer work.

I have been playing baseball since I was 6 years old and every time I step onto the mound, I bring my all. One of my strengths is my ability to focus on the game and tune out the noise. I am always focused on the next batter, the next pitch, and the next play. 

My work ethic is strong both on and off the field. I am always the first one on the field before a game or practice and the last one to leave. I am also a true student of the game. I love to play baseball, read about baseball, and watch baseball. I have spent the last 5 winter school breaks traveling to MLB Spring Training. The opportunity to observe, interact, and learn from professional players up close has been both meaningful and inspiring for me.

Baseball is my true passion and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to play at the collegiate level. I thrive in highly competitive situations, both athletically and academically. I am excited to bring my drive for success, strong command of the strike zone, and positive energy to the right college program.
