PERSONAL STATEMENT

My name is Luke Lance and I've been playing baseball for 10 years. I currently play for the Team Ontario Astros U18 CPBL. Playing baseball is a passion of mine. I love the games, practices and being with my teammates and coaches. I also like to spend time working out at the gym. I really enjoy lifting weights and staying in shape.

When it comes to baseball, when I'm not on the mound I really enjoy playing first base. I like the action and being involved in almost every play. I've also spent time playing in the outfield which i enjoy as well. On offense I would consider myself a contact hitter with decent power.

I think my greatest attribute when it comes to baseball is my coachability.

I am always looking for constructive criticism, feedback and ways to improve. I am never afraid to ask a question. I am also willing to do whatever is in the best interest of the team. I work hard at practice and will also cheer on my teammates through good times and bad.

School is also very important to me. I take a lot of pride in my grades and was proud to be part of BEAP athletic program. I am hoping to continue to have that academic success all throughout my reminder of my high school career. 
I am also a percussionist in the school band and have played for the flag football and rugby teams at school. Unfortunately as part of the BEAP program I am not allowed to play on our high school baseball team at school.

Outside of school I enjoy a athletic lifestyle of various sports and outdoor activities. 

I also have spent  time volunteering for school/ community programs. I helped out at youth baseball and basketball program or camps 

My full-time job is baseball 24 -7 always working to improve my skills.

There is nothing more that id like to do then continue to play baseball at the college/university level. I think I would be a great addition to any team and would certainly be a model student at any school I attend. Thanks for your consideration Luke Lance.
