2022 Spotlight Personal Statement
My name is Kaleb Mathieu. I’m currently 6’1” tall and 190 pounds but still growing. I’m a Senior at Pine-Richland School District graduating 2025. I play Outfield, and pitch for both my school team as well as my travel/club team (Hardcore Elite out of the Pittsburgh, PA area). I started playing baseball when I was 7 years old but my passion for the sport grew when I joined my Club/Travel team as it allowed me a higher level of play and engaging with players from other areas. I’m a very friendly teammate who always helps but I’m also very competitive and strive to get better during all events including training, working out, games, etc. I work hard to be a good student and strive to get as good of grades as possible as education is the path to forward rewards. I strive to be the best on the field as well as on the bench.
