On my second birthday, I received a plastic bat and ball. From that day forward baseball has been my sport. I started playing tee ball at the age of four and have continued playing. I have played club ball, showcase ball and high school ball. Playing baseball has taught me that I am not a quitter. If a game does not go by way, I will work harder to improve my skills. I take accountability in the fact that I can only get better by putting in work outside of practice. I strive not to be the best on the team but to be the hardest working player on the field. I have a personal hitting and pitching coach to help me improve these skills. In addition, I am a team kind of guy meaning once I am on a team the other players become like family. If given the opportunity to play college baseball with you, I will prove I am a hard worker and great asset to your team.
I not only work hard on the field but work hard in school as well. I keep a high GPA and will continue working hard in college to keep a high GPA. I want to attend a college that will help me work not only in sports but also meet my goals academically . After, college I want to continue my life journey in either sports medicine, sport management or education as a coach. I also want to have the privilege of possibly going pro.
