Jacob Boeta '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a driven person with a passion to learn and master baseball at the high school and collegiate level. I have been playing baseball since I was 5 with quick learning progression, adaptability, and skill adoption. I was taught at a young age that nothing is given without hard work, and I push myself daily, whether it be academics, strength & conditioning, at baseball practice, or at baseball games. 

I arrive early for practice (my dad always said if your not early, you're late), and am ready to practice when coach calls the start to practice. I practice like I play and constantly listen and seek out coaching advice to improve my game. I am a team player with a great attitude that contributes to the overall well being of any team I have been involved with. 

Some things I like to do during my free time are fish, hunt and play basketball with my friends on the weekends even though I am not the best. I also like to stay home and hang out with family when I have time. I don't like being inside very much and like the outdoors more than anyone would.

I am excited about this next chapter in baseball and the great outcomes that await me!
