Baseball is an important part of my life and I have been playing it for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have been a member of many different teams and played several positions. I began playing Little League when i was four, moved to travel ball at 13 for the increased competitiveness, earned a position on our high school Junior Varsity team as a freshman and just completed my sophomore year as a member of our Varsity team.
Each team and every position has enabled me to increase my understanding of the tactical aspects of the game, improve my skill set and shown me the benefits of remaining open and receptive to coaching. High school baseball has had an incredible impact on my perception of the game and has driven me to compete at a higher level. Our coaches have great expectations of their players, which has motivated me to be a better player on the field and a better person off the field. I know that I would be a valuable asset to your team, as I believe that my passion for the game will continue driving me to be a better player, a better team member and a better team mate.
My greatest hope is to be accepted by a school which helps me receive the education necessary to pursue my career goals while encouraging me to compete at the college level.
