My name is Andrew Cyphers, I attend Manor New Tech High school. I played two years of varsity ball so far and I am only going into my junior year. After my freshman season, I was named 2nd team all-district middle infield for District 20-4A. Then, after my sophomore season, I was also named 2nd team all-district utility player. I am a 6’2, 155 pound utility player that can play wherever a coach needs me to play. When I pitch and field, I throw from both side arm and from a 3 quarter arm slot. My fastball velocity is 78 mph and my breaking ball velocity is 70 mph. I’m more than just a pitcher, I have a lot of range in the infield and outfield. My 60 yard dash time was a 6.73 but I am working everyday to get that time down. However, I don’t only preform well on the field, but I’m also great in the class room. I’ve maintained above a 3.0 GPA and was recently inducted into the National Honor Society. I am grateful for the opportunities to learn, grow, and connect that baseball has afforded me over the years, ranging from playing the game I love to volunteering in camps at DBat. It is my biggest goal to continue my baseball journey at the next level.
