Nathan Lake '25 Recruiting Profile

I  am a quiet leader, but what I lack in a powerful voice, I make up for with discipline, hustle, and dedication. I am really proud I made the Varsity team as a freshman---and won a second team all district honor for pitching.  My goal is to get better at baseball every year and work toward my dream of playing baseball professionally. In college I am interested in studying something in the field of STEM, or perhaps economics or statistics. 

I like to encourage my teammates, especially when they are in a tough spot. I am mentally tough and calm under pressure. I am organized, trustworthy and make good choices. In my free time I help neighbors with yard work and I help younger kids in the neighborhood with pitching and hitting. On Saturdays when I don't have a game, I volunteer with the local Little League Challenger program for kids with physical and intellectual challenges.
