My name is Adam Baldwin, and I finished my freshman year at Shenandoah University, in Winchester Virginia 2014. I attended The Apprentice School in Newport News Va. and worked at the shipyard and played baseball. I started seven of the nine games there and hit .360 with a highlight of going 5 for 5 against Briarcliff in Vero Beach Florida. I continued working in the shipyard through May of 2015, and decided this is not what I wanted to do for my future. I am 5'10" and weigh 190 pounds. I am looking to transfer to a D11, D111 or NAIA college. I was selected as a 2nd Team All District 3rd baseman during the 2011 season, 2nd team All District 2nd baseman for the 2012 season, and 2nd team All District ss for the 2013 season. I also played in the VHSCA all-star game at the conclusion of my senior year. I played in 5 games for Shenandoah University in 2014. My personal highlight was finding a relationship with God, and getting baptized in January of 2015, and also baptizing both my mother and father. I am a hard worker, and believe in hustling on and off the field at all times. I will play where ever I am needed to be an impact to the team. I am open to all possibilities concerning school size, but would like to play at the highest level that I can compete at. I am planning on majoring in a sports related field, and am interested in a Christian school that can meet my educational needs. I will continue to work hard to improve all aspects of my game to make my dreams come true of playing baseball at the next level. I am currently not attending school but am involved in a cross-fit program every day. I will be testing to get my Level 1 certificate in Oct. of 2015. I am much stronger and quicker and hopefully I can continue my education as well as continue to play baseball at the college level. I feel like I can be an impact to a program with the maturity and confidence I have accrued with this year I have taken off. I have gotten quicker, stronger, and have 2 years of eligibility left. Just want an opportunity.
