I have always excelled at baseball. I have played at a high level prior to high school. In 2016 I was the only freshman that lettered with the varsity high school team and I am currently on the varsity team as a sophomore. My primary goal is to continue my development at this stage, so that I can compete for a position in a college baseball program.
I cannot remember a time when I was not interested in playing baseball as a youth. After participating in Tee-Ball and playing for some recreational teams, I joined and started for several travel baseball teams. These teams were interested in my ability to bat as their cleanup hitter and they wanted my fielding and pitching skills. I have learned that I am adaptable to high pressure situations by remaining calm and executing and locating my pitches. I also think that I slow the game down, and it's not too fast for me. Academically, I have a 4.017 GPA at this point as a student. I intend on maintaining this GPA throughout my high school years and continuing the same results as a college student.
