Being a student-athlete comes with many responsibilities; such as keeping with classes and practices. However, first and foremost, focusing on academics is the most important to becoming a successful student overall. Without education you would not be able to further succeed in life. With that being said, being a student-athlete has many benefits. I have the ability to work well with others, be a team player, and communicate well. I personally believe I will be committed to working hard, I will pay attention to detail, and will be willing to learn, in both the classroom and on the baseball diamond. Also being born prematurely by two months and being told I would be not be able to accomplish anything hasn’t stopped me from accomplishing my goals along with managing life with being type 1 diabetic.
