Personal Statement

I want to play College baseball because I have dreamed since a small age about making it to the MLB, and in College baseball there is a better chance of seeing if that dream can come true. I think it is also a great place to learn and progress my knowledge of baseball. I don’t just think I can play College baseball I know I can because I’m working to get stronger and to get better at the game of baseball with the help of my coaches. It’s just always been a dream of mine to keep advancing my baseball career, and playing College baseball is one step closer to my dream. I just love to play baseball and have fun with it, and I think that is what is pushing me to do better so my teams do better and have more fun. Those are some of the reasons that I want to play College baseball.

I think that you should put me on your recruiting boards because I can bring some things that you guys need. I will push upperclassman to do better because I’m going to be working my butt off to play and get better in the process. I will also have fun with my teammates and push them. I can also bring a right handed pitcher to your bullpen, and be able to throw hard and throw strikes. I am now going into my senior year, and throwing mid 80’s so I’ll be getting better, and working to be a dominant pitcher that will go places. Most importantly I love the game of baseball and love playing it, and I think that is a big part of my game because it is the motivation for me, and also knowing that I can do this and reach my dream. I know by you putting me on your recruiting boards you won’t regret it because I will give you everything I got, and have a blast playing baseball.

Some of the opportunities that I’m looking for is a chance to play at a high level, and use that to advance to the highest level possible. So the opportunity to play at College would be a good start for a path to the highest level possible. The opportunity is a once in a lifetime chance to find a good College and play there because you only go to college once in your life, so it would be a great opportunity to play for an elite program. Another great opportunity is that you get to meet new friends and form relationships with coaches and teammates. Those people will be friends for life. You’ll also get to travel and play baseball and have a fun time with the team. So there are many great opportunities that lie within.
