My name is Ben Ostermiller. I am a sophomore at Powell High School in Wyoming (Class of 2027).
I have played baseball since I was 5 years old, but I have had a bat or baseball in my hands since I could walk. I would say that I have always been a team first player. I am primarily a catcher, but I have also spent a lot of time pitching and playing shortstop or third. I would say versatility is a strength because I was able to play all nine positions at one point last summer.
I would make a great addition to any program because I am a hard worker and coachable. Because I am still just a sophomore, I am still trying to figure out things, but I am open to looking into all opportunities.
I love baseball, and I hope that I can someday play at the college level.
