Ava Gonzales '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi!
  My name is Ava Gonzales. I’m a student at Grandview High School in Aurora, CO and cheer at Cheer Athletics- Denver. Currently I am competing in the 4.2 division all girl. This is my 6th year competing and 3rd year on this level. I have learned a lot from being in this division including how to be a good team member, how to be a good athlete and be competitive. I have also achieved a lot when it comes to competing in this division including, placing second at summit and third at NCA. There are a lot of valuable lessons I have learned, and they are what have lead me to becoming the strong, confident athlete I am to this day. I have experienced wins and losses;  through it all I learn to love this sport even more.  It gives me drive, passion, and there is nothing like the feeling of being on a team and performing like your life depends on it. I plan to continue this passion and drive into my college career. I am excited to hopefully get the opportunity to cheer on and support a school by doing what I love more than anything.
