Skylar Johnston '27 Recruiting Profile

My goals for college cheer are to continue to advance the skills I have obtained while showing school spirit and support. I would like to contribute to a positive environment while working to achieve success alongside my teammates. I believe I am a great candidate because I am able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. I have a strong work ethic which allows me to be resilient and achieve my goals. What makes me different from other candidates is that I have not only excelled in cheer but also in my classes and have maintained a GPA of 96% during the cheer season while doing multiple clubs. Regarding my character I am known to be very friendly and uplifting and am always a shoulder to lean on. During my experiences in cheerleading I have learned that cheer is not only about physical skills but your ability to uplift the crowd and be a positive influence to spread school spirit.
