I started Field hockey when I was in 6th grade and I have loved playing ever since. Growing up, i played basketball for 5 years and lacrosse for 6 years, and soccer for 5 years. But The sensation of picking up my stick and playing on the field is what is leading me to want to continue playing in college. Through playing field hockey I have been taught the importance of determination, organization, and responsibility. If you are passionate about something, you will do anything in order to achieve it. I have made great friends throughout my field hockey career that encourage me to be the best teammate and player I can be. Playing field hockey has also made me a better student. I have learned that time management is key to being successful. My friends and family would describe me as kind, hard-working and positive, with a big sense of humor. My personality allows me to dream big and never give up. My determination on the field continues continues academically. I am I high honor roll student (3.9 GPA unweighted/weighted) and enjoy Math and Science. I was a starter my freshman year on JV and later in the season played my first varsity game and scored my first goal. This year I am a starter on Varsity and hope to win an FCIAC or state title for Wilton Field Hockey together with my team. I dream to attend a college that cares about you on and off the field and pushes you to be the best player and student you can be. I hope to be on a team that will be like my second family!
