I have been a field hockey player for six years after leaving 6 years of competitive travel lacrosse and soccer. I demonstrate a strong work ethic, high field hockey IQ and field awareness, excellent coachability, grit and work as a team player. I take my academics as well as my time on the athletic field seriously which is why I am interested in a school that is competitive in both academics and field hockey.
My field hockey club has been competitive at the national level for many years and has players traveling for several hours to be a part of one of the nation’s top clubs. Practicing and playing in this competitive environment has helped me develop as a person, a player, and a teammate. I would like the college I play for to have the same competitive, cohesive and supportive team experience where I know I would contribute to its academic and field hockey successes.
