Evie Wolters '25 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for looking at my profile. I am a strong, skillful and versatile player; looking to continue to play good and competitive hockey in college.

For the past ten years I have been in club hockey with Xcalibur Field hockey, located in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.  Club hockey has given me experiences with many tournaments (4x NIT first place, 2x Jpol champs) and one on one coaching. I have also learned that I gravitate towards a leadership role amongst my teammates, in order to achieve the best possible result for the team. My U-14 and U-16 team won the 2022 JPOL trophy; which was a great team effort!

Determination is another character trait that is strong for me. Whether it is to win that medal, or learn that skill; for example: drag flicks, spins, and back hand shots, I keep practicing until I get it! I enjoy spending time in our basement, working on advanced skills with my dad, who used to play in Holland and coached me until U14.

This past 2022 season, I made the 2022 Liberty All-Division Second Team.  I also was honored by being awarded offensive MVP my sophomore year.

 In the past 2 seasons in club and school hockey, I have achieved many of my goals. For example scoring goals, assist, shooting corners, and just being a good player and having fun. I also plan on maintaining college prep courses to increase my GPA.  As far as college, I am still assessing, but I do want to be involved with a strong field hockey program that meets my future academic goals.
