Jackson Elkins '19 Recruiting Profile

I love the sport of football and I have ever since I started. I have been a starter on varsity for 3 years splitting time at QB and fulltime safety as a sophomore.  Due to injury my junior year on the 2nd play of the 2nd game I do not have much film from last year nor have I gotten any recognition from any college coaches. Even though injured early last year was voted permanent captain by my teammates. I know I can play at the next level, and not only play but compete. I have worked extremely hard to get back to where I was before the injury and feel like I am ready to have breakout season my senior year. I play all 3 sports and have been starting shortstop on varsity baseball team since freshmen year making all-county and all conference two out of the 3 years. But football has always been my passion and I refuse to give up on my dream because of a freak injury last year. My biggest asset is my work ethic and competitive drive I am just looking for a opportunity to be able to display this at the next level.
