Richard Foster '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time and interest to review my profile. Let me tell you a little about myself. Growing up in a small town with not much for kids to do, I found my outlet when I signed up for YFL Football. That is where I built my love, strength, and confidence in learning the skills in the game of Football. Football became more than a sport for me, it has kept me focused and motivated to stay out of the troubles that plague our community. Playing under the Friday Night Lights is what kept me motivated as a young football player and receiving the opportunity of playing High School Football for the Braves I know my hard work has paid off.
My motivation has been continuous, not only on the football field but also in the classroom. I have experience in playing positions as a Wide Receiver (Z and Slot), Special Teams, Defensive Corner, and Free Safety. As of now, my weighted GPA is 3.45. My preferred position is on the Offensive side as a Wide Receiver. I love the ball in my hands with the open field in front of me, it comes easy to me. This season I was given the opportunity to contribute my abilities and skills as a starter on the Varsity Team. In 2013 & 2014 I was honored in receiving First Team All-League and First Team All-Area Defensive Back and Wide Receiver. I continue to work with the tenacity and mind set of wanting more, not only as a football player, but also as a student. I believe that there is always room for improvement and growth. I want to be great in life and to be great takes hard work.
