Making it to the league has been a dream of mine for many years that I would love making a reality. Watching football at a very young age showed me toughness, determination and leadership. I believe with the great support from my dad and with the good grades I've been getting that great colleges would help me reach my goal. I just want to ball and live life.
I started watching football consistently when I was around 5. Every Sunday, hanging out with my dad watching the NFL. My dad always supported me in everything and I feel like with his support I could really succeed. I had fallen in love with football. At the age of ten, I signed up to play football. Coaches would always tell me I had great speed so I decided to be a cornerback. Quickly learning the game, I became a starting cornerback near the end of my first season. I was also a safety at times. My second season, I was the starting cornerback and I had an amazing season. My third season I was also the starting cornerback and played a little bit of wide receiver. I make sure I give it my all every play.
Growing up watching the NFL showed me toughness and determination like I said. I've watched videos of NFL stars talking about their past life and how they made it to the league. One example is Ray Lewis. He battled many challenges in life that he had to overcome. Seeing him make it to the league and become a star inspired me and showed me what tough and being determined really means. Many of my coaches and teachers would call me a leader. Always looking out for people and helping them with things. Making sure everyone is good and ready to go on. Many also say I bring positive vibes with me.
I've always had good grades. I hope a good college looks at that and could help me reach my goal. I've received many honorable and principle awards. In conclusion, I would be a great fit for colleges because I'm a great leader, I get good grades and because I'm very determined in making to the league.
