Elijah Thorp '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'11" 170 lbs. Defensive Back/ Nickel Back from San Pedro High School in San Pedro, Ca. I am in the class of 2022 and have started on each side of the ball for all 4 years on Varsity and sub-varsity level. This past season was awarded 1st Team All City Open Division, 1st Team All-Marine League, and Team Defensive MVP.  I recorded 89 Tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions; 1 returned for Touchdown, 5 pass breakups, 2 forced fumble, 1 sack, and 1 fumble recovery, adding 13 receptions for 228 yards and a touchdown over 12 games. I am interested in a school that provides great athletics as well as academics. I am interested in schools all across the country. I am very passionate about football and have put thousands of hours into it. I believe that my performance will prove I'm capable at playing college football at a very high level and competing with the best. I will give you 100 percent and be the first one in and the last one out. One thing that makes me different as a person is the different things I've went through off the field, like losing my father after my Freshman Season, which has shaped and molded me into the individual I am today. Ideally, I want to make an immediate impact on a college football team, and I will bring great leadership, determination, and a desire to succeed to any school I go to.
