Jimmy Newman '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was 4 years old. Started with flag and switched to tackle at 7 years old. As each year passes my passion for the game continues to get stronger. My goal is to play at the next level and continue to work at a high level to achieve goals I set for myself as well as goals set by my coaches.  I have played many positions on the OL with my main position for the past 3 years as center. I was the starting center for Varsity this past season and look forward to another amazing 2 seasons in high school.  I also spent several years playing on the DL with my main position being Nose-guard. I enjoy playing both sides of the ball and the opportunities it gives to increase my skills and knowledge of the game. Several of my coaches have told me that I am a very coachable athlete and work hard to learn all I can about the game.  I have been working with a personal trainer at Team Speed, Littleton, CO, for the past 3 years to maximize my skills and potential at the next level.  I enjoy volunteering in the community by giving time to help out the grade schools with activities put on for the students, football camps for our youth feeder teams, and helped to set up a clothing drive for the homeless in 2022. I look forward to any opportunities I may receive to play ball at the next level.
