I have been playing football for three years now. At first I was hesitant, but I have fallen in love with the sport. My first year playing, my coaches started me at defensive end due to my natural athleticism, as well as my ability and willingness to be coached. Due to my coachability, leadership, and discipline, I have become one of the team captains. This year I helped lead our team to the semi finals in the state championship, and was voted all conference.
I work hard to maintain my 4.0 GPA, and I intend to keep that throughout college. I have put in 200+ volunteer hours at a local horse vaulting camp. I am also a speed Rubik's cuber, my fastest official time being 9.89 seconds. Because of this, my eye hand coordination as well as my spatial awareness are above average.
I want to attend a college where I am physically and mentally push myself, both on the field and in the classroom. I am open to play in any position that the team needs me to play. I am excited to be apart of something larger, and I can't wait to get started.
