Never Give Up!
At the age of 7 I played my first game of football. The crisp fall air, screaming fans, the blow of the ref's whistle, and the moment the ball is hiked are some of the many reasons I fell in love with the game. All my life I dreamed of playing football at the college level. Life has a way of crushing those dreams, as reality is starting to sink in and my dreams of playing at the college level may not happen. As I begin my senior year, I have regrets on many things I wish I would have done differently. Since, I can't change the past, I have decided I will control my future.
I don't give up! I never quit! I may not be the fastest, smartest, or quickest, but I will work the hardest. I am that kid that played every and any position the coach asked of me. without question or complaints. With the guidance of my parents who taught me to play every position I was put in with all of my heart and give 100%. Having this perspective helped me understand the different plays and the job of every player. Not only has this gave me the understanding of the game but has helped me to grow in my individual athletic abilities and my confidence on the field.
