My goal is to be a college level student athlete. To attend a college/university with well respected academics to prepare me for my future, while at the same time earning the opportunity to participate in a successful college level football program.
My parents taught me the importance of a strong work ethic. If something is important to you, you must take the necessary steps to prepare yourself to be successful. For academics, it means being prepared to be an active participant in class and completing assignments. For sports, it means being prepared to attend practice, learn assignments, and listen to instructions. Also, the willingness to prepare year-round through off season workouts. As my father has always stressed: make a `Commitment to Excellence` in whatever you do; whether for yourself, your employer or a team.
Besides family activities and responsibilities, church activities, and academics; my life revolves around the sports and activities I'm involved in. Along with football; I participate in track, club men's volleyball and intramural basketball. Also, I train year round at ETS and have done so for nearly three years now. My best 40 time is 4.5, my max bench is 250, my max squat is 300 and my vertical is 35". All of these numbers are from this spring during a combine. My GPA is a 3.3, and I have taken honors courses throughout High School along with AP classes. I strongly believe success in the classroom is just as or even more important than on the field. On the field, I'm constantly encouraging my teammates and I never take a play off. I pride myself on being the best teammate I can be, and lead by example through everything I do.
