My passion is playing football. I will never forget that feeling with my teammates when our JV and Varsity Little Loop teams won the league championships. As I got older, the more I played the more I loved it. As the games became more competitive and I was starting on both sides of the ball, I knew it was a good fit for me.
I have worked as a dishwasher at a local restaurant for the last year and half. I understand the value of a dollar. I have had to learn time management skills so that I can keep my grades up while working and still participating in sports and other activities. I have been a Junior counselor the last two summers to the younger campers at the Boys and Girls summer camps and as a senior I have been appointed to be an student adviser to the incoming freshmen at our high school.
I know I am going to college so that I can be prepared in my career path, but my goal is to continue my passion of playing football at the next level. Being a part of a football team has strengthen my core values taught to me by my family and it has shown me the importance of teamwork, sacrifice, commitment, and striving to do my best.
I was named team Captain by my Coaches and teammates for both the JV team and upcoming 2017 Varsity team. I have always given 110% to listen, learn and execute what was asked of me on the field, in whatever position I was needed. I believe my character, work ethic and leadership would be an asset, and if I am given the chance I will give 110% to make a positive impact on a college football team.
