I have been playing football since the 3rd grade and became very interested in it in around 5th grade. It took me a while to warm up to the sport, but I ended up loving it. The sport teaches many skills that can be applied to everyday life. I learned from a young age the value of discipline, dedication, and hard work and I have carried those skills into academics and my everyday life. I definitely don’t know where I would be without it.
One of my academic goals is to maintain the grades necessary to be accepted into college. Another huge goal for me is to get an athletic scholarship. Obtaining these two goals will require hard work and dedication on and off the field and is definitely a challenge that I am willing to accept. This would also give me an opportunity to better myself in life.
