My name is Bryce Dickey and I am a Junior at Clackamas High School in Oregon. I start at Inside Linebacker on one of the most tenacious and aggressive defenses in the state. I have also gotten a few carries this season at Running back resulting in 2 touchdowns. I love the sport of football and aspire to be the best player I can be by training hard, dedicating myself, and buying in everyday. I hunger for the chance to challenge myself by playing college football, and I know it will give me the opportunity to play at a faster pace, and with a level of intensity that I’ve never experienced before. I have great love and passion for the game of football.
My academics are very important to me and I strive to put forth my best effort in the classroom before I go out and put forth my best effort on the football field. I have and plan to maintain a 4.0 GPA and am challenging myself by taking Advanced Placement classes where I can refine my thinking skills/abilities and put them to work in the real world. Academics always precede football because I know that football will come to an end eventually and the things I have learned throughout my life in high school and college are what will aid me in being successful when I am making a name for myself in the world.
My family, my religion, and upholding my values are the most important to me of all. I have an older sister and and a mom and a dad who have taught me that you should always stand up for what you believe in and show courage and conviction in your beliefs. I take what my family has taught me and apply to my life everyday so that I can be the best man I can be, on and off the football field.
