Kayden Pryor '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kayden Pryor, and I am a dedicated student-athlete with a passion for both academics and sports driven by a strong sense of discipline, leadership, and commitment to making a difference. I am currently maintaining a 4.4 GPA while pursuing a rigorous course load of honors and AP classes. I take pride in my academic achievements, but I understand that excellence is beyond grades and sports. My ability to balance academics with multi-sports is what sets me apart, I am not focused only on success, I am focused on integrity, growth and inspiring those around me. In the classroom, I thrive in a challenging environment. For example, I am excelling in Honors Chinese IV, where my dedication to mastering a new language has not only helped me develop unique skills but has helped me develop/think more critically and creatively and approach challenges with a better, broader perspective. These are the same skills I bring to the field and in my role as team leader. On the field, I am a triple threat in basketball, soccer, and football. Football is where my heart lies, and as team captain, I take pride in being a leader who values sportsmanship and collaboration. My focus is not just personal performance, but on elevating my teammates and fostering a team-first mentality. I believe a successful team is built on trust, mutual respect, and of course a shared drive to push each other to be better, daily. I am constantly looking for ways to inspire my teammates, whether it is through hard work, determination, or just being a positive influence when things get tough.

What makes me unique as a recruit is my ability to excel both on and off the field, my commitment to ethical leadership, and my drive to contribute to a team in ways that go beyond what is expected. I am always striving for excellence, not just in my grades or my stats, but in my character and my ability to lead by example. As I look forward to my future, I aspire to continue my education while competing at the collegiate level, where I can not only pursue my passion for sports but my interest in biology and scientific exploration. I want to use my platform as a student-athlete to inspire others, build lifelong connections, and contribute to a program that values hard work, teamwork, and academic excellence. I am more than confident that my work ethic, leadership abilities, and dedication to both academics and athletics make me a strong candidate for the next level of collegiate sports.
