I am a dual sport athlete and have played as a starter in both varsity football and baseball during my sophomore year. I was invited to participate in the Early College program in my school and have maintained an unweighted GPA of 4.96. I have strong family values and my family supports me in everything I do. I am reliable and honest, and I work hard to listen to what my coaches say and adjust. I am a Christian and pray with my team before games and always try to lead by example. I am respectful and work hard to earn my teammates and coaches trust. I appreciate hard work and dedication to any task. I follow rules and always leave 100% of my talent on the field. I am not selfish, I am a team player. I put in extra work above what is required to strengthen my weaknesses. Win or lose I keep a good attitude because we need to prepare for the next game. I am intense about the details and critical of myself, always trying to improve. I am not scared to ask questions when I don't understand. I see my teammates as a part of my family and play the game with a lot of heart. I try to lead with a good attitude and keep my teammates up through tough situations. Even as a big guy, I understand the importance of agility and have focused and improved on that throughout my life. Additionally, playing baseball has allowed me to develop and maintain strong eye-hand coordination. I have strong defensive and offensive skills, having the highest batting average on the JV team in the spring of 2018. Eventually I plan to pursue a career as an engineer or a veterinarian.
