Football started as an outlet for me. But as I grew in skill and technique, my passion for the sport intensified. The weight room became my sanctuary, where progress translated to on-field success. I worked hard and remained coachable, determined to make an impression on the coaches. We moved around a lot which was hard for my relationships. And while I lost some friends, I gained a brotherhood within my football team. The field became a sacred space where lifelong friendships formed, creating a second family.
