My name is Stephen Von Mann and it is my goal to play college football at a college or university that can challenge me academically, as an athelete, and earn a degree in physical education. I want to specialize in exercise physiology and work after graduation as a college strength coach or a football coach at the high school or college level. I am currently 17 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 190 pounds. . I have been competing with upper level high school players at camps and combines for 3 years and have excelled and been honored at these camps and combines. I have been named the Defensive Back MVP of the National Underclassman Combine 2 years in a row. I am a dominant football player and will be in college. I have been the starting strong safety since my sophmore year for the varsity football team at Beech High School, a 5A program that always does well in the state playoffs each season. We won the state championship in 2009, reached the quarterfinals my sophomore season and won the 5A State Championship again my junior year in 2012. I was in the Top 5 leading tacklers on the team as a sophomore and as a junior and I expect to lead the team in tackles my senior year.
I am a Christian and this is very important to me. I am very active at Long Hollow Baptist Church and have been on 3 mission trips for my church. I know I am what you are looking for in a student both academically, as I carry a 3.25 GPA, and athletically. I will make the school proud and have a great impact on campus. I can be reached anytime at 615-686-1575.
