Personal Statement
I am a Christian athlete from a small town in West Texas. I have been raised by my Grandparents most of my life, and they instilled in me the value of hard work, and whatever you start, you finish. They taught me to respect other people. These are some of the qualities that made me a dependable, motivated player.
I have been a starting Defensive Lineman since my 6th grade year. I learned that the weight room has to be your second home. The results that i saw on the field were from being in the weight room and all the extra time I was willing to put in to lifting and running. Time management and the importance of maintaining a good grade point average were all valuable lessons I learned.
Senior year has brought a lot of decisions. I have always wanted to play college football. At the beginning of the season i decided I wanted to pursue a coaching career. I love football and being able to help younger players.
I think the perseverance and work ethic I learned in high school will make me a valuable recruit for you team. I may not be the biggest player, but I will be one of the hardest hitting and hardest working players for your team.
