Callie Humphrey '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Callie Humphrey, I am a point guard/shooting guard. I attend Bethel College in Newton Kansas. I have played basketball since I was 8 years old and everyday I grow to love the game more. I am now a Sophomore in College and looking to transfer to a family knit environment. Where the team continues to grow and get better together. 

Playing college basketball has always been my lifelong dream.  

I work for PGC (Point Guard College) and continue to learn and grow more and more in the game of basketball everyday. 

 In High School I also ran cross country, and track.  Outside of athletics I am involved National Honors Society, and church.

As a freshman in High School, I was honored to be a starter on my high school varsity team.  I received our district’s Newcomer of the Year Award and made the Academic All District Team. As a Sophomore, I received my new district's Newcomer of the Year again, Academic All District Team, and TGCA All-State Team.  This past year as a Junior, I received District Co-MVP, Academic All District, and TGCA All-State Team.

I have played AAU basketball for a few years, and I look forward to playing on a new AAU team in my new town. I worked hard in my new school’s summer workouts and every basketball camp I can attend.  I also played in weekend tournaments with my school team.

I’m very determined to continue working hard academically.  I take honors classes and study diligently to maintain a high GPA.  

I would like to attend a college that is athletically and academically challenging so I can compete at a high level. I believe I will have a lot to offer a college team and with hard work and dedication I will make my dreams come true.
