Personal Statement
Being the son of a coach I have gotten to see more than just winning and losing in sports. I have seen my dad and the other coaches stay late just so we can be ready for the next day. I have gotten to see things most athletes don't get to see. This has made me want to play harder and do my very best to prepare myself in order to reward my coaches (dad) for their effort. I have also learned how much family time means. My nuclear family is always there to support me and as I have progressed in sports my Wildcat Family has become very important to me. I work everyday on the field and in the classroom to never let either of my families down. My hard work has paid off as I am the only 4 sport letterman in Splendora. I will have 13 total letters by the time I graduate. Lettering in Football, Basketball, Track and Golf. I enjoy other activities as well and I am very proud to say that in 8 weeks I will be an Eagle Scout.
In my sophomore year I took a Sports Medicine class and loved it! Since than I have looked into various careers along that path and have decided to pursue Physical Therapy. I know I will need to keep my grades up as this is a very competitive field, so in the classroom I will be giving 110% to make the best grades I can. As much as I have enjoyed preforming for my current family, I believe I will enjoy being a member of your family even more, growing as an athlete and a young adult.
