Personal Statement
My name is Honor Knott and I am a christian athlete. I’m 5‘4, 130 pounds and very athletic. My first year of high school I was the only freshman to play on the Varsity softball team of mostly juniors and seniors. Also during my freshman year, I ran Varsity track, went to Regionals with my relay team and was captain of the JV cheer squad. I also raise and show a pig for FFA.
Though COVID-19 ended spring sports early during my sophomore year, I was a starter for Varsity softball, ran Varsity track and was a Varsity cheerleader.
I am hard-working and very dedicated to school (4.9 GPA and top 15% of my class), athletics and my community (I regularly volunteer at my church, delivered food in the community after Hurricane Harvey and helped with supply distribution after Imelda). I have a great love for softball. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard, never give up and to always be a great teammate. As of now I would like to be a dentist or orthodontist. My goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a high competitive level, make an impact on the team and to be an example to those around me.
