Jonathan Cleland '17 Recruiting Profile

My biggest dream is to compete at the collegiate level in football. Of course I want to go to a division 1 school but I am willing to be realistic and take what I am offered. I am a very intelligent kid when it comes to school, I have never made a B on a report card in my life, and as you can see from my transcript I am very successful in my classes. As far as football goes I know that I compete at the collegiate level playing quarter back, for I understand many offenses and can read many forms of defense. I am a fast and quick mobile quarter back that can scramble and run the spread offense very well but I can also step up in the pocket and make long bombs down the football field with great accuracy and precision. Over all I am the kind of kid that you won't ever have to worry about when it comes to academics, and I am also a natural born leader that will lead what ever team I am on to always perform their very best in all things, such as the weight room, off season, and most importantly the classroom. I am currently on the leadership council for my football team and I received that position by my peers voting for me. When you sign me you are bringing on a leader, a great student athlete, and a great football player.
