I have had the privilege of playing football for the St. Mary's Springs Ledgers under coach HIghland Jr. (Highland Sr. is currently the winningest coach in Wisconsin HighSchool Football) during my middle school career. The highlight of my football career was my 8th-grade session we had a perfect session, we won every game and no team scored on us. We were asked to be a part of "The Locker Room Show" with the Green Bay Packers to celebrate our season. I have played a variety of positions throughout my football career.
As a Freshmen, I played Center and really enjoy being able to use my leadership skills while controlling the line.
As a Sophmore, I was used as a utility player and played many different positions such as: defensive end both sides, Right and Left guard, Defensive tackle. I love the feeling of being double-teamed and pushing both players back.
I believe that I need to be continually working on my skills and strengthening my body so that I am in the best condition to play football competitively. I really enjoy weight lifting and working in the weight room, because this prepares me physically. Being able to complete physically is a gratifying.
Working as a team in football has driven me to seek a career that will allow me to utilize this skill set. Additionally, through working on my Eagle project I learned how to lead different groups of people, how to communicate more effectively and to overcome adversity. I aspire to fulfill my dreams and aspirations by graduating from college and being an Imagineer or engineer because creating new things and working as a team excite me.
